No. of Days Since I Felted Myself with a 1-Pair Hand = 4!
Two preposterous hands here, that I would have been embarrassed about even in my pre-Cardrunners days! I don't have anything to say in my defence, except that these hands came in amongst a 6.5 buyin downswing in less than 1k hands, and the whole World seemed to be against me!

Villain plays 48/28/3. I elected to coldcall in the SB with A9s. I could perhaps have 3bet.
Flop: :kc :3d :9c ($7, 3 players)
Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets $3.5, Hero calls $3.5 (pot was $10.5), CO folds.
I flop middle pair and a backdoor flush draw. Villain weakly bets half the pot, and I decide to call. I probably fold at least half the time in this spot.
Turn: :7s ($14, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $16.09, Hero raises all-in $55.05, Button calls.
Villain now overbets the pot, and I don't believe him, so I push. Pretty horrible play by me. Villain playing 48/28 is not likely to be discerning enough to fold here, even if he was pushing a draw.

Villain plays 36/5/0.75. Std open raise for me UTG with any PP. CO 3bet and I should be folding here, as he has less than the 10x the raise left behind. Totally tilty push by me, and when he calls, I am praying to be shown AK!

No. of Days Since I Felted Myself with a 1-Pair Hand = 0!
I am furious with myself for this uber-donk play! Still I guess it would have been worse if I had actually won this hand, as that would have been rewarding me for breaking my own rule (something that poker does with alarming regularity, incidentally).
I must thank the poker gods for this lesson and move on, armed with a new conviction that I will fold 1-pair hands in the face of significant aggression postflop.

I bet out just under pot and get called in the BB. Somewhat drawy board, with a flush draw and also possible str8 draws.

Nice brick on the turn, so I decide to bet almost pot, in a vain attempt to fold the draws.

Flush completes. Also str8's for a QT or a T7(not likely). Villain pushes at me, and this is a mind-bogglingly easy fold, but I convince myself he is on the steal, and that he would have bet a bit smaller with the flush to be sure he got called. WRONG!

Nice turn card. On reflection the villain betting out pot could have indicated trip 3's, but I took it to be an A, likely to be weaker than mine. I was very surprised that the villain folded, having been so pot-committed.

Nice flop. I bet out half the pot, and get raised over pot. I probably should have figured villain as pretty passive, but I took this to be either a weaker Ace, or perhaps a flush draw. At this stage, I had less than $5 in the pot, and should have folded, in the face of such aggression.

Pretty harmless looking turn card. I was a little taken aback to be min-raised, but I think that villain would play an over-pair the same way. His fishy stats of 36/0 probably rule out him playing a fush or str8 draw like this, but these are also possible holdings.

5s on the river doesn't look to have changed anything. Villain pushes and I should have been able to find a fold here. What am I beating here???? I can't see villain making this move with air, after I have led the turn, in the face of his min-raise on the flop. He clearly has something he likes, that surely beats my miserable TPGK.

A pretty decent flop. I have an OESD, although there is a flush draw on board. I bet the pot, thinking that I might take it down here. Jualia's raise was not unexpected, and could have represented almost anything, from an overpair, through a flush draw, to and underpair, including a T, a 9, or even a complete bluff. I am happy to play a raised pot at this point, with a strong draw.

A semi-blank on the river (only a 5 benefits from it), seems like good news for me, but the goddamn villain has called my 3bet OOP preflop with J9s for crying out loud!!! Piiit plays 21/15/2. Standard 3bet for me out of the SB, facing a raise UTG. The fact that he calls gives me pause for thought, but I am still likely to be ahead of more than half his range.
** Dealing the flop: 8 of Clubs, 7 of Clubs, 9 of Clubs
intrarob bet - $14.00
Piiit called - $14.00
Good new, the flop is all undercards. Bad news, it could hardly be any more draw-heavy! I bet the pot, hoping to either take it down, or charge a heavy price for the villain's likely str8 or flush draw.
** Dealing the turn: Jack of Diamonds

Piiit went all-in - $29.25
intrarob went all-in - $28.75
A decent card for me. I check, partly for pot control, partly to induce a semi-bluff with something like a naked Ac. I am happy to call the all-in.
** Dealing the river: 6 of Spades
A semi-blank on the river (only a 5 benefits from it), seems like good news for me, but the goddamn villain has called my 3bet OOP preflop with J9s for crying out loud!!! I could never in a million years have put him on that hand, but the fact that I was beaten by any T, or two spades, or KK, AA, 66, 77, 88, 99, JJ, should have allowed me to fold on the turn.

bie22 plays 13/6/3. I respect his opening range, even in the CO, so I just cold-called with my KQs rather than 3bet. I am happy to see a flop in position with a decent drawing hand.
** Dealing the flop: 3 of Spades, 3 of Diamonds, King of Spades
bie22 bet - $4.00
intrarob called - $4.00
Very good flop for me. Villain Cbets the pot, and I let the clock run down a bit to let him think that I faced a tricky call!
** Dealing the turn: 7 of Clubs
bie22 bet - $10.63
intrarob called - $10.63
Another blank, and I am happy to see another big bet from villain. I figure to still be ahead of his range.
** Dealing the river: 3 of Clubs
bie22 went all-in - $21.49
intrarob called - $21.49
A good river card for me, although this potentially counterfeits my decent kicker. I now only fear AA, 77, or the case 3. When the villain shoves, I am expecting to see a pocket pair at the very MINIMUM, and probably a K for a split. I was astounded to see a naked bluff! What kind of hand did he figure I was going to fold here?

DOLLARIHYMY plays 18/12/1.8, liverpoolfc6 plays 71/15/0.7. Standard 3bet for me out of the BB. DOLLARIHYMY was likely raising to isolate liverpoolfc6, and I spoilt his fun! I am not at all disturbed by liverpoolfc6's limp/cold-call as he has been playing almost every hand to the river. I am pleased to have him along for the ride!
** Dealing the flop: 3 of Clubs, 7 of Spades, 9 of Clubs
- intrarob bet - $12.00
- liverpoolfc6 called - $12.00
A good flop for my kings, although the club flush draw needs protecting against. I bet 2/3 of the pot and I am not surprised to be called by liverpool. Virtually impossible to put the villain on a hand, the way he plays, but he probably has either 2 overcards, or an overpair.
** Dealing the turn: 9 of Spades
- intrarob bet - $21.00
- liverpoolfc6 went all-in - $20.50
The 9s is a slightly worrying turn card, as it put a 2nd flush draw on the board, plus also put me behind to a 9. Nonetheless, I am happy to put the villain all-in here. I would have been extremely surprised if he had folded here. I still have him on either overcards, or an overpair.
** Dealing the river: 5 of Diamonds
A perfect river card, as it completed neither flush, and the only straight that it completed was for a 4-6 hand, which even for this villain was a pretty unlikely to call a 3bet with preflop.
Annoyingly, this was a hand that Prima decided not to show-down properly, so we will never know what hand I was up against.

boyish plays 17/14/1. His raise from the CO could be with a pretty wide range, so I figure my 3bet will take it down more than half the time. I am not thrilled to be called, but I still have a decent hand if I can flop something.
** Dealing the flop: 9 of Spades, 9 of Diamonds, Queen of Diamonds
- intrarob bet - $9.00

Decent flop for my hand. Villain's call is not ideal, but I could still be ahead of TT, JJ, KQ or even a flush draw (although I would expect him to raise with the flush draw).
** Dealing the turn: 3 of Diamonds

I am not thrilled that the flush completes, although I think that the villain would have likely raised the flop with the flush draw. He bets half the pot, so I am getting 3/1 on my call. On balance, I made the call, but I wasn't entirely happy.
